This more or less sums up how I feel about any site that nitpicks others’ writing. So I promise here and forever after to try to be the best writer I can, especially when I am writing about other writers’ foibles. I know I won’t be perfect. I know I will make errors, poor word choices or wordy word choices. I will strive to provide “more matter, with less art,” as the seemingly virtuous queen said to the buffoon.

That said, I welcome pointers on my own writing. We’ll be better at helping each other that way.
